etectRx Expands eBrief™ Partnership with Mission Health Communities to Three Additional Care Communities

ALACHUA, Florida (July 15, 2026) – etectRx™, Inc. (etectRx™), a leading digital health sensor company, today announced the expansion of its partnership with Mission Health Communities, building on the success of the eBrief™ Early Adopter Program first launched at McPherson Health and Rehab in McPherson, Kansas. Following strong early results, the eBrief intelligent incontinence monitoring system is now expanding to three additional Mission Health communities: Botkin: Care and Rehab, Kaw River: Care and Rehab, and North Ridge: Health and Rehab.
This expansion reflects Mission Health's ongoing commitment to investing in technology that improves resident care, supports caregiver efficiency, and strengthens clinical outcomes across its growing portfolio of skilled nursing and senior living communities.
The decision to expand follows a three-month case study at McPherson, which began in the summer of 2025 and tracked outcomes among 15 residents using the eBrief System. The results were notable: a 100% prevention rate of incontinence-related skin breakdown among participants, including residents previously deemed high risk; a 50% relative reduction in falls; and an 83% lower urinary tract infection rate compared to non-eBrief users.

The eBrief System uses a discreet, disposable, battery-free moisture sensor embedded in incontinence products to provide real-time alerts to caregivers, enabling faster response times and more dignified, proactive care. Since its introduction at McPherson, the technology has supported Mission Health's broader goals of improving operational efficiency while enhancing resident comfort and well-being.

Seeing eBrief move from a single early adopter site to four communities within Mission Health's portfolio in just over a year reflects the kind of long-term, data-driven partnership etectRx set out to build.
Incontinence remains a significant clinical challenge in skilled nursing settings, with residents experiencing incontinence five times more likely to suffer skin breakdown leading to pressure injuries, and each breakdown incident adding an estimated $5,851 in associated care costs. The continued rollout of eBrief underscores Mission Health's broader strategy of adopting innovative, data-driven solutions that reduce these risks and improve quality of life for residents.
