ALACHUA, Florida (August 11, 2026) – etectRx™, Inc. ("etectRx™"), a leading digital health sensor company, is honored to be named a finalist in the Innovator of the Year category of the McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards.
The long-running program honors providers and marketplace players that
demonstrate how technology has improved care and operations. This year, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be granted across 14 total categories, which include two brand-new additions — Creative Use of AI and Tech Champion.
The program is a joint effort of McKnight’s Long-Term Care News, McKnight’s Senior Living, and McKnight’s Home Care.
“As technology becomes increasingly embedded in everyday life, its influence on senior care continues to grow,” said McKnight’s Publisher Brian O’Rourke. “McKnight’s annual Tech Awards + Summit celebrates the leaders at the forefront of this evolution. The recognition will be part of a two-day virtual event on September 15 + 16, which will include tech-focused educational webinars and conclude with the unveiling of the winners at a gala awards ceremony. Nominations were judged by an independent, external panel of industry experts.
